Amardeep Singh

Amardeep Singh, a resident of Singapore, was educated at The Doon School (Dehradun, India), Manipal Institute of Technology (India), and pursued a master’s in business administration at the University of Chicago, USA. Before becoming an Independent Visual Ethnographic Researcher, Amardeep worked in the Financial Services sector for 25 years and served as the Head of the Asia Pacific Region at American Express for Revenue Management. He is the author of two books: ‘Lost Heritage, The Sikh Legacy in Pakistan’ and ‘The Quest Continues: Lost Heritage, The Sikh Legacy in Pakistan.’ Additionally, he has produced and directed two short documentary films on the remnants of the Sikh legacy in the Indus region, titled ‘Peering Soul’ and ‘Peering Warrior.’ His most recent work, a 24-episode docuseries on Guru Nanak available at TheGuruNanak.com in five languages, received the 2022 Interfaith Prize awarded by Hofstra University (USA). Currently, Amardeep Singh is leading a five-year effort under the ‘Oneness in Diversity’ project to create two documentaries and educational content aimed at strengthening the message of Oneness based on the concordance of the Indic Saints of the Bhakti movement. It’s worth mentioning that Amardeep’s wife, Vininder Kaur, plays an equally creative role in all their past and future projects.
