Afrasiab Khattak

Afrasiab Khattak serves as the Chair of the Policy and Research Committee of the National Democratic Movement (NDM). He is a former Senator who chaired the Senate Committee on Human Rights and was an integral part of the Parliamentary Committee responsible for drafting the 18th Constitutional Amendment. In recognition of his parliamentary services, the Government of Pakistan bestowed upon him the Nishan-e-Imtiaz, the highest civil award. Formerly, Afrasiab Khattak held the positions of Chairperson at the HRCP (Human Rights Commission of Pakistan) and Provincial President of ANP Pakhtunkhwa. With his deep insights into regional affairs, he specializes in Afghan matters. His educational background includes an MA in English and an LLB from Peshawar University. Moreover, he is proficient in Pashto, Urdu, English, and Persian languages, both spoken and written.
